I Want That Mountain!

(A message to all men. May The Lord speak to your hearts this day.

Ladies, you are also welcome to learn from these principles! Do read on!)

After a successful and fulfilling career, people look forward to one thing: Retirement.

Many can relate to having retirement fantasies that involve touring the world, endless golfing, and no alarm clocks. (Definitely; no alarm clocks!)

But would you ever consider taking on an incredibly tough challenge at that stage in life?

A Boxing Day message to my stalker

There are some entries that I write for my eyes only, but I pray that releasing this post will bring about a learning opportunity for those that need it.

So…(*deep breath)…here goes.

Not too long ago, I had a strange feeling that there was someone lurking in my shadow. At first, I thought it was sheer paranoia on my part.

It clearly was not.

Tangled no more

Spider webs. There is something about spider webs that has always fascinated me.

Just the thought of having a spider in the house creeps me out. (Quinton can tell you all about my general reaction to bugs!). But that aside, it’s incredible what an incy wincy spider can put together in no time.

What starts of as a couple of lines can quickly turn into a very intricate wall-hanging of sorts around the house…especially if you don’t keep up with housekeeping on a regular basis. Pretty cool to look at, but it’s a deadly trap for other insects.

A new season

I am literally standing by the grace of God! If I had to contemplate every blessing that we have received, especially since my miraculous healing on January 23, 2011, I would seriously pass out! And so, I won’t even bother with trying to process it all…

It has been pure joy since I got my life back. I am able to be take care of and have fun with Q and Ish, work fulltime, tackle special projects, drive; you name it! Q is so surprised over how much energy I have. Even my doctor feared that I would have setbacks, but when she heard about how I was doing two months later, she said: I know that this is a true miracle. I know it!
