Carefully positioning a nail at the edge of a precisely trimmed plank, he steadily tapped away.
The thud of each hammer strike echoed throughout the town.
There are some entries that I write for my eyes only, but I pray that releasing this post will bring about a learning opportunity for those that need it.
So…(*deep breath)…here goes.
Not too long ago, I had a strange feeling that there was someone lurking in my shadow. At first, I thought it was sheer paranoia on my part.
It clearly was not.
We are enjoying the sights and scenes near our home. Over the past year, we have discovered so many hidden trails and wonders!
And how delightful it has been to explore the rolling hills of Addington Highlands, also known as Nature’s Heartland. The scene was ablaze with colour this Fall! (Me thinkst Q wore out the brake pads on our vehicle from pulling over so many times so we can scurry about with our camera.)
Here are a few images from our excursion where we experienced steep climbs and drops, and everything from blazing sunshine and blue skies to mist and showers.
A lovely Thanksgiving Weekend indeed! Thank You God for showing us Your glorious splendour through each season in our beautiful Canada!
We recently discovered a serene location called Morris Island; a beautiful conservation area near our place. One could spend weeks (if not months) taking photos there as a slight change in lighting seems to completely transform the place…even in the same season and time of day.
As the weather was lovely today, we decided to venture out that way again on another little photowalk. We took in so much!
Actually, a little too much…About halfway into our walk…in the middle of the woods…I heard a sound that set me off into a m-a-s-s-i-v-e panic attack!
I adore taking scenic routes with my family…with camera in hand, of course. Here’s a glimpse of the scenes we took in today at White Lake:
Praise the Lord from the earth… snow and mist; wind and weather fulfilling His Word! (Psalm 148:7-8)
